1. Engine Speed Sensor

The sensor is used to correlate with the G40 Camshaft position Sensor. The ecu needs to know when the crankshaft reached TDC and also the position of the camshaft, to trigger the spark and injectors.

If this sensor fails the ECU will show an error code P00160 which indicates that the Crank Shaft and Intake Camshaft are not in sync, possibly indicating the chain stretching or a jump link on the upper chain of timing. However the code will not appear on its own, without additional information from other sensors (G4 and G40).

It can be a bit difficult to test because there are various pins on the connector, and each one has different functions. 2. Injectors

Yesterday, when accelerating from highway paytoll at a high speed, i noticed a huge decrease in power. It was as if the engine had run out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. I pulled out the spark plugs this morning, 3 were soaked in gasoline, and the 4th was dry. When I crank the engine, there are no sparks, I put a piece of tissue on the top of each of the injector holes, the 3 drenched with gazoline leap out, however the 4th stay shut. I tested the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I got 0ohm. Therefore, i think the issue is elsewhere.

I also tried to reset PID without success. 3. Fuel Pump
